New vehicles registrations in Dominican Republic: Decline in 2017

According to data published by OICA, the indicator decreased by 20.04 percent compared with the year before. Vehicle registration diminished by 4 814, versus the prior year when it grew by 11.8%. The overall changes for the previous 13 years reached a decline of 32.33%. Moreover, it has shown a 0.03 percent average annual growth rate during the five years with a marginal overall decrease since the start of observations. It averaged 20 237.23 from 2005 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 29 852 in 2007 and record low of 9 181 in 2009.
