Import of live eels to Belgium grows in 2017
United Nations Statistical Office published that import of live eels increased by 20.98% in comparison with the prior year. The indicator went up by 905 569 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it grew by 16.23%. Belgium saw a decline of 22% in import of live eels over the past 19 years. Moreover, it has had a negative CAGR of 0.02 percent during the 5 years with a marginal overall diminution since the 1999. It averaged 6 285 898.37 US Dollar from 1999 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 9 388 109 US Dollar in 2005 and record low of 3 713 200 US Dollar in 2015.
