Export of vanillin (4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde) from Greece declines in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office published that organic chemicals export sharply declined by 92.11 percent compared to the previous year. The variable dropped greatly by 57 254 kilogram, in contrast to the prior year when it climbed by 2.65 percent. The overall changes for the previous 24 years hit a growth of 1 861.6%. Though, it has shown a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.38% over the 5 years with a negligible overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 35 290 kilogram from 1993 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 84 909 kilogram in 2011 and record low of 250 kilogram in 1993.
