Import of frozen bovine edible offal to Senegal climbs in 2016

The variable greatly rose by 75.3% in comparison with the prior year, according to figures released by United Nations Statistical Office. The indicator increased strongly by 85 125 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it climbed by 116.42 percent. Senegal saw a growth of 3 240.1% in cattle import over the past 19 years. Besides, it has attained a 0.27 percent average annual growth rate during the five years with a slight overall fall since the start of observations. It averaged 157 574.63 kilogram from 1998 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 536 922 kilogram in 2006 and record low of 2 663 kilogram in 1999.
