Import of silk yarn from silk waste and silk worm gut to Lithuania goes down in 2017

In 2017 the variable sharply fell by 83.02 percent, updated statistics from United Nations Statistical Office display. Silk import declined greatly by 725.59 kilogram, compared with the prior year when it grew by 44.22%. Lithuania saw a decline of 98.43% in silk import over the past 24 years. Moreover, it has attained a drop at a 0.01% CAGR over the last 5 years with a marginal overall diminution since the 1994. It averaged 1 075.98 kilogram from 1994 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 9 478 kilogram in 1994 and record low of 3 kilogram in 1998.
