Import of natural gum, resin, gum-resin, balsam to Australia falls in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office published that gum import diminished greatly by 86.45% compared to the same time an year ago. Gum import sharply dropped by 1 478 307 kilogram, versus the previous year when it climbed by 510.12%. Australia saw a fall of 10.87% in gum import during the last 29 years. Besides, it has had a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.22 percent during the last five years with a slight overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 402 612.07 kilogram from 1988 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 1 710 066 kilogram in 2015 and record low of 156 514 kilogram in 1994.
