Import of plasters (calcined gypsum or calcium sulphate) to Sri Lanka: Growth in 2017

In comparison to the previous year the indicator grew by 27.79%, updated data from United Nations Statistical Office illustrate. It reveals the all-time peak since 1990 as the variable climbed from 954 022 US Dollar to 1 219 101.88 US Dollar, in comparison with the prior year when it diminished by 2.9%. Sri Lanka saw a growth of 244.55% in plasters import over the past 28 years. Furthermore, it has shown the compound average annual growth rate of 0.1 percent over the five years with a marginal overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 716 346.42 US Dollar from 1990 to 2017 and it reached its minimum of 353 822 US Dollar in 1990.
