Import of live pure-bred breeding horses to Lithuania goes up in 2017

In comparison with the previous year horses import strongly climbed by 273.95 percent, updated figures from United Nations Statistical Office highlight. Horses import grew sharply from 102 719 US Dollar in 2016 to 384 117 US Dollar prior year, in contrast to the previous year when it declined by 80.79%. Lithuania saw an increase of 42.33% in horses import during the last 24 years. Furthermore, it has attained a rise at a 0.45% average annual growth rate during the five years with a marginal overall raise since the start of time series. It averaged 101 640.67 US Dollar from 1994 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 534 852 US Dollar in 2015 and record low of 6 742 US Dollar in 2000.
