European Commission reported that in comparison to the previous year flax yarn import dropped strongly by 82.93 percent. The indicator went down sharply from 31 510 Euro in 2016 to 5 380 Euro prior year, contrarily to the previous year when it grew by 146.17%. Slovakia saw a fall of 58.62% in flax yarn import during the last 13 years. As well as it has attained a negative CAGR of 0.18 percent over the 5 years with a modest overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 12 775.38 Euro from 2005 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 31 510 Euro in 2016 and record low of 4 790 Euro in 2011.
