Value added by agriculture, hunting, forestry, fishing in Congo declines in 2017

Agricultural value added diminished by 9.17% in 2017, updated data from United Nations Statistical Office indicate. The variable declined by 63 883 707.29 US Dollar, compared with the prior year when it went up by 10.37%. The overall changes for the previous 48 years reached a growth of 988.44%. Besides, it has had the compound average annual growth rate of 0.01% over the last 5 years with a marginal overall increase since the 1970. It averaged 276 606 858.26 US Dollar from 1970 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 698 394 944 US Dollar in 2014 and record low of 58 146 952 US Dollar in 1970.
