Export of table knives from Madagascar declines in 2016

According to statistics issued by United Nations Statistical Office, in 2016 kitchenware export hardly went down by 4.72 percent. The indicator slightly dropped from 869 in 2015 to 828 prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it decreased by 24.37%. The overall changes for the prior 16 years reached a growth of 169.71%. However, it has attained a negative average annual growth rate of 0.01 percent over the last 5 years with a negligible overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 2 636.5 from 2001 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 19 771 in 2011 and record low of 43 in 2007.
