Import of live pure-bred breeding horses to Luxembourg: Diminution in 2016

Horses import fell by 20.16 percent in 2016, refreshed figures from United Nations Statistical Office reveal. The indicator dropped from 6 573 kilogram to 5 248 kilogram, versus the prior year when it went up by 164.83 percent. The overall changes for the previous 18 years hit a raise of 18.36%. Moreover, it has attained a 0.57 percent average annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a slight overall diminution since the 1999. It averaged 13 269.61 kilogram from 1999 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 164 276 kilogram in 2003 and record low of 200 kilogram in 2001.
