Import of boots covering the ankle with soles and uppers of rubber or plastics to Seychelles: Increase in 2016

In 2016 footwear import climbed sharply by 301.85%, according to adjusted figures presented by United Nations Statistical Office. The variable rose greatly by 2 285 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it grew by 951.39%. The overall changes for the previous 22 years reached a growth of 948.97%. However, it has had a decline at a 0.23 percent compound average annual growth rate over the 5 years with a negligible overall rise since the 1995. It averaged 2 535.5 kilogram from 1995 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 28 031 kilogram in 2010 and record low of 3 kilogram in 2001.
