New vehicles registrations in Brazil rises in 2017

According to updated numbers issued by OICA, in comparison with the previous year vehicle registration increased by 9.2%. The indicator grew by 188 594, compared to the prior year when it dropped by 20.19 percent. Brazil saw an increase of 30.58% in vehicle registration over the past 13 years. Though, it has had a decrease at a 0.1 percent average annual growth rate during the last five years with a slight overall rise since the 2005. It averaged 2 856 975.15 from 2005 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 3 802 071 in 2012 and record low of 1 714 644 in 2005.
