Vanadium consumption as other than ferrovanadium forms in United States falls in 2015

According to revised figures published by U.S. Geological Survey, in 2015 the indicator fell barely by 0.24%. Vanadium consumption diminished slightly from 838 000 kilogram in 2014 to 836 000 kilogram previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it decreased by 0.95%. United States saw a growth of 142.32% in vanadium consumption during the last 15 years. However, it has attained a drop at a 0.01% compound average annual growth rate over the last five years with a marginal overall increase since the 2001. It averaged 555 006.67 kilogram from 2001 to 2015 and it hit its all-time high of 900 000 kilogram in 2011 and record low of 93 100 kilogram in 2003.
