Vanadium consumption as other than ferrovanadium forms in United States declines in 2017

U.S. Geological Survey announced that compared with 2016 vanadium consumption fell hardly by 0.6 percent. The indicator went down slightly by 4 998 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it decreased by 0.6%. United States saw a rise of 139.42% in vanadium consumption over the past 17 years. Likewise, the vanadium consumption is now bigger than its average which equals 587 182.59 kilogram and the variable reveals a negligible overall raise since the start of observations. It reached its all-time high of 900 000 kilogram in 2011 and record low of 93 100 kilogram in 2003.
