Palm oil production in Cameroon remains stable in 2017

According to adjusted figures announced by U.S. Department of Agriculture, in comparison with the previous year the indicator hasn't changed. The variable was 300 thousand tonnes, for the 3rd consecutive year. Cameroon saw a raise of 581.82% in palm oil production during the last 54 years. Furthermore, it has attained the compound annual growth rate of 0.01 percent during the 5 years with a negligible overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 137.44 thousand tonnes from 1964 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 354 thousand tonnes in 2011 and record low of 35 thousand tonnes in 1966.
