Export of crude or roughly trimmed marble and travertine from Norway increases in 2017

Marble export grew strongly by 46.46 percent in comparison with the previous year, revised statistics from United Nations Statistical Office highlight. The indicator rose greatly by 275 712 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it increased by 1 791.99 percent. The overall changes for the prior 25 years attained a fall of 88.07%. Furthermore, it has had a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.26 percent during the last five years with a marginal overall decrease since the start of observations. It averaged 2 960 033.48 kilogram from 1993 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 7 284 977 kilogram in 1993 and record low of 31 364 kilogram in 2015.
