Export of fluorinated, brominated or iodinated derivatives of acyclic hydrocarbons from Portugal goes up in 2016

The variable greatly went up by 115.68 percent compared with the previous year, updated statistics from European Commission reveal. The indicator climbed strongly by 276 170 Euro, in contrast to the previous year when it diminished by 6.74%. Portugal saw a growth of 794.7% in chemical intermediates export during the last 17 years. Besides, it has attained a 0.28 percent compound average annual growth rate over the five years with a marginal overall increase since the 2000. It averaged 174 115.88 Euro from 2000 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 745 750 Euro in 2005 and record low of 170 Euro in 2001.
