Import of rye to Denmark rises in 2017

The indicator strongly grew by 49.5 percent in 2017, according to revised data issued by United Nations Statistical Office. Rye import sharply rose by 2 192 993.5 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it increased by 54.7%. The overall changes for the prior 29 years reached a rise of 881.42%. Still it has shown a fall at a 0.24% compound annual growth rate over the five years with a modest overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 5 666 246.09 US Dollar from 1989 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 25 511 728 US Dollar in 2013 and record low of 674 824 US Dollar in 1989.
