Import of provisionally preserved cherries to Belize falls in 2016

According to data issued by United Nations Statistical Office, the variable dropped greatly by 89.1 percent in comparison with the previous year. Cherries import diminished sharply from 367 US Dollar in 2015 to 40 US Dollar prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went down by 33.03 percent. Belize saw a drop of 97.44% in cherries import over the past 19 years. Likewise, it has attained a diminution at a 0.12% average annual growth rate during the five years with a negligible overall decrease since the start of observations. It averaged 2 726.05 US Dollar from 1998 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 41 222 US Dollar in 1999 and record low of 13 US Dollar in 2001.
