Import of yarn of artificial staple fibres not packaged for retail sale to Sweden increases in 2017

European Commission reported that yarn import increased strongly by 36.76 percent in comparison to the year before. The variable grew sharply from 162 860 Euro in 2016 to 222 720 Euro prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went up by 60.45 percent. Sweden saw a fall of 73.39% in yarn import over the past 23 years. As well as it has shown a negative average annual growth rate of 0.18 percent during the five years with a modest overall decline since the 1995. It averaged 365 707.39 Euro from 1995 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 841 790 Euro in 2005 and record low of 101 500 Euro in 2015.
