Urea production, nitrogen content in United States falls in 2014

In comparison to the previous year nitrogen production hardly went down by 4.76 percent, according to data issued by U.S. Geological Survey. The indicator slightly fell by 120 thousand tonnes, contrarily to the previous year when it went up by 5 percent. United States saw a fall of 9.77% in nitrogen production over the past 12 years. Besides, the nitrogen production is now below average of 2 470 thousand tonnes and the variable indicates a marginal overall diminution since the 2003. It attained its all-time high of 2 660 thousand tonnes in 2003 and record low of 2 330 thousand tonnes in 2009.
