Import of yarn of synthetic staple fibres not packaged for retail sale to Hungary: Growth in 2017

Yarn import grew by 12.92 percent in 2017, according to refreshed statistics announced by European Commission. The indicator went up by 113 300 kilogram, versus the previous year when it went down by 12.38 percent. Hungary saw a drop of 71.06% in yarn import over the past 15 years. Likewise, it has had a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.02 percent during the 5 years with a negligible overall diminution since the start of time series. It averaged 1 753 073.33 kilogram from 2003 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 3 899 700 kilogram in 2004 and record low of 876 600 kilogram in 2016.
