Production of tungsten (wolfram) and articles thereof in Austria drops in 2016

According to data announced by European Commission, in comparison with the prior year tungsten production negligibly went down by 0.06%. Tungsten production fell barely from 7 800.93 thousand kilograms to 7 796.62 thousand kilograms, in contrast to the previous year when it increased by 8.26%. The overall changes for the prior 9 years attained a raise of 7.89%. Likewise, it has had the average annual growth rate of 0.05 percent during the five years with a marginal overall growth since the 2008. It averaged 7 003.64 thousand kilograms from 2008 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 8 941.38 thousand kilograms in 2011 and record low of 3 169.23 thousand kilograms in 2009.
