Import of permanent magnets, articles intended as magnets except metal to Zimbabwe decreases in 2016

According to statistics announced by United Nations Statistical Office, compared to the prior year battery import decreased sharply by 76 percent. Battery import greatly declined from 19 554 kilogram in 2015 to 4 692 kilogram previous year, versus the prior year when it increased by 96.03%. The overall changes for the previous 22 years hit a fall of 66.1%. Besides, it has had a rise at a 0.4% average annual growth rate during the last five years with a modest overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 5 997.59 kilogram from 1995 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 26 694 kilogram in 2011 and record low of 853 kilogram in 2006.
