Commercial vehicles in use in Iraq: Raise in 2017

In comparison with one year earlier commercial vehicles in use increased barely by 3.08 percent, according to revised statistics announced by OICA. Commercial vehicles in use negligibly grew from 2 270 thousand units to 2 340 thousand units, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it climbed by 3.18 percent. It's new all-time peak since 2005. Iraq saw a growth of 67.14% in commercial vehicles in use during the last 13 years. Moreover, it has had a 0.03 percent compound annual growth rate during the last five years with a marginal overall raise since the start of time series. It averaged 1 843.77 thousand units from 2005 to 2017 and it reached its minimum of 1 400 thousand units in 2006.
