Import of salted, dried or smoked bovine meat to Honduras rises in 2016

Cattle import sharply went up by 176.9 percent in 2016, according to numbers published by United Nations Statistical Office. The variable strongly increased from 2 849 kilogram in 2015 to 7 889 kilogram prior year, in comparison with the previous year when it fell by 48.44%. The overall changes for the prior 23 years attained an increase of 368.75%. However, it has attained a negative CAGR of 0.1 percent during the last 5 years with a slight overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 32 362.22 kilogram from 1994 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 344 017 kilogram in 2007 and record low of 28 kilogram in 2003.
