Production of urea containing less than 45% by weight of nitrogen on the dry anhydrous product in Greece goes up in 2017

European Commission published that in 2017 urea production went up slightly by 1.29%. Urea production negligibly increased from 16 049 455 kilogram to 16 256 745 kilogram, in comparison with the previous year when it decreased by 28.39%. Greece saw a growth of 4 249.55% in urea production during the last 7 years. Furthermore, it has attained an increase at a 0.16% average annual growth rate during the five years with a modest overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 11 541 574.43 kilogram from 2011 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 22 413 336 kilogram in 2015 and record low of 373 757 kilogram in 2011.
