Import of salt suitable for human consumption to Belgium: Increase in 2017

According to refreshed data announced by European Commission, condiment import grew by 8.04% in 2017. The variable climbed from 13 549 720 Euro in 2016 to 14 639 200 Euro prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it rose by 15.97%. Belgium saw a raise of 9.16% in condiment import during the last 10 years. Besides, it has shown a growth at a 0.04% CAGR over the last five years with a marginal overall decrease since the start of observations. It averaged 13 173 967 Euro from 2008 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 14 863 560 Euro in 2010 and record low of 11 683 900 Euro in 2015.
