Import of refined maize oil and fractions to Malaysia grows in 2017

Maize oil import slightly rose by 4.32% compared with the year before, updated data from United Nations Statistical Office demonstrate. The variable increased barely by 251 751.5 kilogram, in comparison to the prior year when it dropped by 1.57%. Malaysia saw a rise of 65.2% in maize oil import during the last 21 years. As well as it has had a 0.03% average annual growth rate over the 5 years with a modest overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 4 413 261.31 kilogram from 1997 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 7 206 084 kilogram in 1998 and record low of 1 426 245 kilogram in 2001.
