Export of school, exercise books from Greece: Drop in 2016

The indicator sharply dropped by 53.49 percent in 2016, new figures from United Nations Statistical Office reveal. Consumer goods export declined greatly from 267 744 US Dollar in 2015 to 124 530 US Dollar previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it decreased by 43.26 percent. Greece saw an increase of 16.16% in consumer goods export over the past 29 years. Still it has shown a decline at a 0.06% compound average annual growth rate over the 5 years with a modest overall drop since the 1988. It averaged 533 007.52 US Dollar from 1988 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 1 165 591 US Dollar in 2002 and record low of 107 209 US Dollar in 1988.
