Sales of residues of starch manufacture and similar residues in Italy: Fall in 2016

The indicator decreased by 5.18 percent compared with the same time a year ago, adjusted statistics from European Commission reveal. Food waste sales diminished by 18 046 thousand kilograms, in comparison with the previous year when it increased by 1.55%. The overall changes for the prior 20 years reached a raise of 200.46%. Besides, it has had a rise at a 0.02% compound annual growth rate over the five years with a slight overall increase since the 1997. It averaged 201 388.66 thousand kilograms from 1997 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 364 154 thousand kilograms in 2013 and record low of 67 089 thousand kilograms in 1999.
