Import of chemical wood pulp, sulphite, other than dissolving grades to Czech Republic: Raise in 2017

According to statistics published by European Commission, compared to one year earlier chemical pulp import strongly grew by 147.95 percent. Chemical pulp import rose sharply from 1 713 327 kilogram to 4 248 115 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it increased by 33.08 percent. Czech Republic saw a fall of 78.66% in chemical pulp import during the last 14 years. As well as it has shown a rise at a 0.3% compound annual growth rate over the last five years with a slight overall decrease since the 2004. It averaged 7 220 615.5 kilogram from 2004 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 19 910 120 kilogram in 2004 and record low of 954 131 kilogram in 2012.
