Import of yarn of artificial staple fibres packaged for retail sale to Netherlands falls in 2017

According to data published by European Commission, the variable went down greatly by 60.12 percent in 2017. Yarn import strongly decreased from 86 360 Euro in 2016 to 34 440 Euro previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it declined by 30.35 percent. Netherlands saw a decrease of 56.4% in yarn import during the last 10 years. Furthermore, it has shown a drop at a 0.23% CAGR during the 5 years with a negligible overall fall since the start of observations. It averaged 139 437 Euro from 2008 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 574 840 Euro in 2011 and record low of 31 460 Euro in 2014.
