Fuel oil demand in Norway grows in May 2018

According to statistics announced by JODI Data, fuel oil demand sharply went up by 50 percent compared to the prior month. The variable greatly increased by 1 thousand tonnes, in contrast to the previous month when it diminished by 33.33%. The same month one year earlier, the indicator climbed by 400% and reached 5 thousand tonnes. To sum up, the variable was -40% lower in May 2017 than in the same month in 2018. Norway saw a decline of 93.33% in fuel oil demand over the past 16 years. Besides, the fuel oil demand is now lower than its average which equals 29.16 thousand tonnes with a overall diminution since the 2002. It hit its all-time high of 61 thousand tonnes in June 2006 and record low of 1 thousand tonnes in April 2017.
