Export of milled rice from Brazil climbs in 2017

Compared to the prior year the variable increased by 15.18%, according to new numbers released by United Nations Statistical Office. Rice export went up by 31 678 400 kilogram, in comparison to the previous year when it declined by 53 percent. Brazil saw a raise of 11 199.57% in rice export over the past 29 years. However, it has had a negative average annual growth rate of 0.05% over the five years with a marginal overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 137 986 622.62 kilogram from 1989 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 758 308 608 kilogram in 2011 and record low of 774 866 kilogram in 1997.
