Export of dump trucks designed for off-highway use from China decreases in 2016

Compared with the prior year truck export greatly went down by 60.43 percent, according to data presented by United Nations Statistical Office. The indicator strongly declined from 61 729 844 kilogram to 24 428 524 kilogram, in comparison with the prior year when it rose by 30.89 percent. China saw a growth of 1 195.21% in truck export during the last 17 years. Still it has shown a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.1 percent over the last 5 years with a modest overall increase since the 2000. It averaged 28 301 977.88 kilogram from 2000 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 71 609 712 kilogram in 2011 and record low of 1 228 353 kilogram in 2001.
