Vehicles production in Malaysia: Decrease in 2017

According to figures issued by OICA, compared to the prior year vehicle production decreased by 15.62 percent. The variable went down by 85 193, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it diminished by 11.28%. The overall changes for the prior 21 years hit a raise of 72.88%. However, it has attained a fall at a 0.05 percent compound average annual growth rate during the last five years with a marginal overall increase since the 1997. It averaged 453 233.62 from 1997 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 614 664 in 2015 and record low of 128 571 in 1998.
