Export of protein concentrates and textured protein substances from Uganda: Rise in 2015

Compared with the previous year food export increased strongly by 415.25 percent, adjusted statistics from United Nations Statistical Office reveal. Food export greatly rose by 11 627 US Dollar, in contrast to the prior year when it went down by 97.86 percent. Uganda saw a rise of 2 982.69% in food export over the past 22 years. Though, it has shown a decline at a 0.53% compound annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a negligible overall raise since the 1994. It averaged 239 774.27 US Dollar from 1994 to 2015 and it attained its all-time high of 1 316 421 US Dollar in 2010 and record low of 468 US Dollar in 1994.
