Export of protein concentrates and textured protein substances from Uganda increases in 2015

The indicator strongly rose by 415.25 percent in comparison with the prior year, according to statistics released by United Nations Statistical Office. Food export sharply increased by 11 627 US Dollar, contrarily to the previous year when it declined by 97.86 percent. Uganda saw an increase of 2 982.69% in food export over the past 22 years. Though, it has shown a decrease at a 0.53% compound average annual growth rate over the five years with a slight overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 239 774.27 US Dollar from 1994 to 2015 and it reached its all-time high of 1 316 421 US Dollar in 2010 and record low of 468 US Dollar in 1994.
