Household expenditure on children's shirts in Japan: Diminution in 2017

The variable declined by 5.3 percent in 2017, according to revised figures announced by Japan National Statistical Office. Household expenditure on children's shirts went down from 1 452 Japanese Yen to 1 375 Japanese Yen, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it decreased by 2.94 percent. It's new all-time low since 2003. Japan saw a decline of 36.84% in household expenditure on children's shirts over the past 15 years. Likewise, it has had a negative average annual growth rate of 0.03 percent over the five years with a marginal overall fall since the start of time series. It averaged 1 802.4 Japanese Yen from 2003 to 2017 and it hit its maximum of 2 240 Japanese Yen in 2004.
