Import of dimethyl terephthalate to Ireland climbs in 2017

Petrochemical intermediates import grew greatly by 56.54% compared with the previous year, according to statistics issued by United Nations Statistical Office. It hit its 23-year peak as the indicator sharply went up by 141 955.83 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it rose by 44.49 percent. The overall changes for the previous 23 years attained a rise of 62 484.95%. Moreover, it has shown a growth at a 1 percent compound annual growth rate during the five years with a marginal overall raise since the start of time series. It averaged 38 519.95 US Dollar from 1995 to 2017 and it reached its minimum of 49 US Dollar in 2005.
