Export of sanitary towels and tampons, napkins and napkin liners for babies from Hong Kong falls in 2017

Compared to the previous year consumer goods export decreased barely by 2.71 percent, according to adjusted data announced by United Nations Statistical Office. Consumer goods export hardly diminished from 6 336 793 kilogram to 6 164 977 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went down by 19.33 percent. Hong Kong saw a diminution of 3.59% in consumer goods export over the past 18 years. As well as it has had a negative average annual growth rate of 0.05 percent over the last five years with a modest overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 4 294 793.39 kilogram from 2000 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 7 928 786 kilogram in 2013 and record low of 1 554 994 kilogram in 2007.
