Import of live pure-bred breeding horses to Ecuador: Raise in 2017

Horses import rose greatly by 93.34 percent compared with the same time a year ago, adjusted figures from United Nations Statistical Office constitute. The variable sharply went up by 7 831.05 kilogram, versus the prior year when it went down by 60.09 percent. Ecuador saw a drop of 28.1% in horses import during the last 27 years. Furthermore, it has had a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.01 percent over the five years with a slight overall diminution since the start of observations. It averaged 32 405.11 kilogram from 1991 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 330 975 kilogram in 2001 and record low of 280 kilogram in 2007.
