Export of medicaments of alkaloids or derivatives thereof not packaged for retail sale from Ireland grows in 2016

Alkaloid export rose sharply by 8 631.98% in 2016, updated statistics from European Commission indicate. The variable grew strongly by 296 940 Euro, in comparison to the prior year when it diminished by 99.74%. Ireland saw a decline of 96.21% in alkaloid export over the past 17 years. As well as it has shown a negative average annual growth rate of 0.34 percent during the last 5 years with a slight overall decrease since the 2000. It averaged 7 164 612.35 Euro from 2000 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 32 395 230 Euro in 2005 and record low of 3 440 Euro in 2015.
