Export of sheet or tile, asbestos and cellulose fibre cement not corrugated from South Africa rises in 2017

Compared with the previous year the indicator went up by 12.65%, according to adjusted statistics presented by United Nations Statistical Office. Cement export climbed from 6 877 226 kilogram in 2016 to 7 747 448 kilogram prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it grew by 170.52%. South Africa saw a diminution of 27.11% in cement export during the last 18 years. Moreover, it has had the average annual growth rate of 0.16 percent over the last five years with a slight overall fall since the start of observations. It averaged 4 686 465.67 kilogram from 2000 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 10 628 810 kilogram in 2000 and record low of 1 530 890 kilogram in 2009.
