Crude oil demand in Portugal: Fall in June 2018

The indicator barely diminished by 2.87 percent in comparison to the previous month, according to new figures issued by JODI Data. The variable decreased hardly from 8 942.6 thousand barrels to 8 686.05 thousand barrels, compared with the prior month when it grew by 2.52 percent. The same month in 2017, the indicator dropped by -2.54 percent and reached 8 730.03 thousand barrels. Between June 2017 and the same month the year after, the numbers demonstrate a -0.5% variation. The overall changes for the previous 16 years attained a raise of 13.65%. Compared to its average, the crude oil demand is now bigger as the mean equals 7 508 thousand barrels with a sharp overall increase since the start of time series. It hit its all-time high of 9 844.19 thousand barrels in September 2015 and record low of 1 935.12 thousand barrels in February 2009.
