Import of live pure-bred breeding horses to Argentina goes down in 2017

According to refreshed data published by United Nations Statistical Office, horses import dropped by 8.84% in comparison with the prior year. Horses import diminished from 81 920 kilogram to 74 680 kilogram, contrarily to the previous year when it went up by 157.45%. Argentina saw a fall of 35.04% in horses import during the last 25 years. Moreover, it has attained the average annual growth rate of 0.05 percent over the last 5 years with a negligible overall increase since the 1993. It averaged 81 565.08 kilogram from 1993 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 203 460 kilogram in 2008 and record low of 31 820 kilogram in 2015.
