Sales of preparations containing cocoa for making beverages in Germany: Diminution in 2016

Compared with the year before the indicator fell by 12.29%, according to data presented by European Commission. Food ingredient sales declined by 8 246.55 thousand kilograms, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went down by 2.57 percent. Germany saw a decrease of 5.58% in food ingredient sales during the last 22 years. Besides, it has shown a negative average annual growth rate of 0.04 percent during the five years with a negligible overall increase since the 1995. It averaged 72 843.84 thousand kilograms from 1995 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 88 933.2 thousand kilograms in 2006 and record low of 56 300.03 thousand kilograms in 1998.
