Tungsten production in China: Stagnation in 2017

According to revised numbers issued by U.S. Geological Survey, in comparison to the prior year the indicator remained stable. For the 2nd consecutive year, the tungsten production remained the same at 71 000 metric ton. China saw a raise of 136.67% in tungsten production over the past 20 years. Likewise, the tungsten production is now greater than its average which equals 53 595 metric ton and the variable pinpoints a slight overall increase since the start of time series. It attained its all-time high of 73 000 metric ton in 2015 and record low of 30 000 metric ton in 1998.
