Tungsten production in China drops in 2016

In 2016 tungsten production declined negligibly by 2.74 percent, updated data from U.S. Geological Survey reveal. The indicator barely diminished by 2 000 metric ton, in contrast to the prior year when it rose by 2.82 percent. The overall changes for the previous 19 years attained a rise of 136.67%. Moreover, it has had a raise at a 0.02 percent compound annual growth rate over the five years with a modest overall increase since the 1998. It averaged 52 678.95 metric ton from 1998 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 73 000 metric ton in 2015 and record low of 30 000 metric ton in 1998.
