Television greater than or equal to 40 inches production in Japan decreases in December 2017

The indicator went down by 11.57 percent in December 2017, according to figures released by Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Television production diminished by 693 million Japanese Yen, as it follows the tendency of the previous month when it declined by 0.94%. In 2016, this fluctuation hit 10.65% and the variable reached 4 311 million Japanese Yen the same month in 2016. In short, the indicator was 22.89% higher in December 2016 than in the same month the year after. The overall changes for the prior 5 years attained an increase of 16.24%. Moreover, the television production is now bigger than its average which equals 4 169.09 million Japanese Yen with a negligible overall decrease since the start of time series. It hit its all-time high of 14 858 million Japanese Yen in June 2012 and record low of 2 686 million Japanese Yen in May 2017.
